My client, a retirement solutions company, is expanding their presence in Hong Kong. They are currently looking for passionate Accounting Operations Analysts to be a part of their dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in enhancing accounting processes and ensuring the financial integrity of the pension funds.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and system entries.
  • Prepare and review transactions and reports, addressing exceptions identified by the team.
  • Develop and implement policy changes to enhance service quality and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Resolve or escalate issues and risks to senior management and clients during governance meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and provide input on operational inquiries and system enhancements.
  • Partner with external entities such as Banks / Custodians, representing client accounting in negotiations and discussions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Accounting experience with pension funds' payments, bank reconciliations, and accounts experience
  • Understanding and experience with reporting issues, such as unit pricing, revenue recognition, expense allocation, etc.
  • Exposure to ORSO preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc and General Ledger knowledge (PeopleSoft preferred)
