This role sits within an innovation-driven technology team focused on advancing enterprise AI capabilities and developing scalable solutions for real-world business use cases. The AI Engineer will help shape and enhance the organisation’s AI platform, support end-to-end development of AI products, and contribute to a collaborative environment that champions research, experimentation, and continuous improvement. You’ll also work closely with internal teams and external partners to build impactful AI solutions that align with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities

Support the build, enhancement, and maintenance of an enterprise AI sandbox platform used for experimentation and product development.

Develop, fine-tune, and optimise AI/ML and LLM-based models for performance, scalability, and accuracy
·
Deliver end-to-end AI project work, from problem definition and data preparation to deployment and stakeholder presentation.

Conduct ongoing research on emerging AI technologies and provide technical guidance to teams developing AI products.
·
Implement quality, risk, and compliance standards in all AI development work.
·
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, external partners, and junior engineers to drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and solution delivery.
Job Requirements
·
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field.
·
Proven track record delivering at least one complete AI solution to business or customer stakeholders (end-to-end ownership).

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AI, with strong depth in LLMs, PyTorch, and modern ML frameworks.
·
Proficient in Python and familiar with cloud architectures and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
·
Strong understanding of data preprocessing, model evaluation, MLOps/LLMOps practices, and AI risk considerations.
·
Able to work independently, explain AI projects clearly, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
