As we expand our core platform, we are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer who loves building robust, production-grade systems and integrating modern AI technologies to solve complex, real-world business challenges.

Position Overview

This is a core, hands-on software development role designed for an engineer who thrives on technical problem-solving and enjoys creating highly reliable backend systems. Instead of purely theoretical AI research, your focus will be on practical engineering execution —architecting resilient platforms, building high-throughput APIs, and effectively embedding smart AI tools and agentic workflows into a regulated Financial Services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Core Systems Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly reliable backend systems and microservices.

• AI Tooling & Integration: Integrate and leverage modern AI tools, LLM APIs, and agentic frameworks to automate high-friction business operations (e.g., document intelligence, intelligent intake, and workflow automation).

• Architecture & API Design: Build robust Open APIs and integration layers that seamlessly connect modern consumer frontends with regulated financial infrastructure.

• Complex Problem Solving: Tackle challenging data-pipelining, state-management, and system-reliability problems inherent in real-time transaction processing.

• Guardrails & Compliance: Ensure all systems and AI integrations align with strict data privacy, security, and financial regulatory frameworks.

Key Requirements

• Backend Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in production-grade software development (ideally using languages like Python, Go, Node.js, or Java).

• System Reliability Focus: Proven track record of building, deploying, and maintaining resilient systems where uptime, data integrity, and error handling are critical.

• Pragmatic Approach to AI: Exposure to or a strong interest in utilizing AI tools, frameworks, and APIs (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, vector databases) to build smart application features.

• Domain Context: Experience working within a regulated environment—such as FinTech, Insurtech, Banking, or e-commerce payment systems—is highly valued but not mandatory.

• Mindset: An entrepreneurial, builder mindset. You enjoy taking ownership of features from ideation to production deployment.
