Area Sales / Key Account Manager, APAC
Location: Singapore
A global niche beauty brand
client is looking for an APAC Area Sales / Key Accounts Manager
to manage its regional distributor partnerships (beauty specialty retailers and key distribution partners) and drive account performance.
Reporting to the General Manager, this individual contributor role shall bring structure, drive growth, and help the brand show up powerfully in APAC retail.
Key responsibilities
- Manage distributor-led markets and key accounts, including Sephora, across selected APAC countries
- Deliver end-to-end commercial performance: sell-in, forecasting, trade execution, and in-store activation
- Lead joint business planning and retail operations with partners
- Maintain pricing discipline, demand accuracy, and inventory health
- Align regional plans with global functions across marketing, education, and operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, finance, and HQ stakeholders
Key requirements
- More than 8 years of commercial experience in beauty, with regional scope across Asia-Pacific
- Direct experience managing Sephora and beauty specialty retailers, including JBP and retail execution
- Strong understanding of distributor governance, commercial negotiations, and pricing control
- Proven ability to drive growth and execution in complex, multi-market environments
- Comfortable operating in lean regional structures with cross-functional alignment
