Automation Engineer (Food & Beverage Manufacturing)
We are looking for a driven Automation Engineer to join a high-performing Food & Beverage manufacturing
team, where automation plays a key role in delivering efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern production systems, optimize plant performance, and lead automation initiatives across the facility.
You will be the go-to expert for PLC and SCADA systems, ensuring smooth operations while driving upgrades and enhancements to support business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Automation & Control Systems
- Manage, maintain, and optimize PLC systems across production lines (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, ABB, etc)
- Oversee SCADA systems to ensure accurate monitoring, control, and data visibility
- Troubleshoot automation and control issues to minimize downtime and improve reliability
Project & Improvement Initiatives
- Lead automation improvement projects, including system upgrades, modifications, and new installations
- Support digitalization and smart factory initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Work closely with engineering and production teams on continuous improvement programs
Maintenance & Reliability
- Develop and enhance preventive maintenance strategies for automation and control systems
- Ensure all automation systems operate safely, reliably, and in line with production targets
- Analyze system performance and implement solutions to improve OEE
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to support daily operations
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators
- Act as a key interface with external vendors and system integrators
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
- 8+ years of experience in automation within food & beverage or FMCG manufacturing
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems
- Working knowledge of SCADA systems
and industrial communication protocols
- Familiar with manufacturing environments with high automation and continuous processes
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Good command both Thai and English
