Co-Manufacturing Manager
Location:
Bangkok and travel to Samutsakorn
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Contract Manufacturing Manager to join a leading food and beverage manufacturing company. This role is responsible for managing and executing all contract manufacturing (Co-Manu) operations, acting as the primary point of contact and main contractor to ensure quality, efficiency, and performance alignment with the company’s standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-Manufacturing Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all contract manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Ensure adherence to product specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the main liaison between internal stakeholders and contract manufacturing partners.
- Supplier Relationship & Performance Management:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-manufacturers.
- Monitor and evaluate contract manufacturer performance against key KPIs (cost, quality, delivery, service levels).
- Conduct regular business reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cost and Efficiency Optimization:
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Support make vs. buy decisions and capacity planning.
- Negotiate terms, contracts, and service agreements with manufacturing partners.
- Quality & Compliance Assurance:
- Ensure all manufacturing partners follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety, and quality assurance protocols.
- Support audits and compliance checks, working closely with the QA and regulatory teams.
- Drive resolution of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in food and beverage manufacturing
- Strong understanding of co-manufacturing, supply chain operations, and quality compliance standards.
- Excellent project management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of food safety certifications (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Good command both Thai and English
