Data Scientist

As the Data Scientist, you will own the design, development, and validation of AI and machine learning models that power the company's platform intelligent capabilities — document extraction, exception detection, sentiment analysis, predictive analytics, and similar features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop AI and ML models for in-scope use cases — document extraction, exception classification, sentiment detection, and predictive analytics
• Evaluate model performance against production quality thresholds — define and track accuracy, precision, recall, and confidence scoring
• Support MLOps pipeline design in collaboration with the Cloud/MLOps Engineer — versioning, monitoring, and retraining
• Document model design decisions, training data, evaluation methodology, and known limitations
• Maintain model performance as the platform scales to new entities and market

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years in data science or applied ML with experience deploying models to production
• Familiarity with Python and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangGraph/langFlow, Anthropic Claude SDK)
• LLM prompting, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for enterprise document contexts
• Understanding of MLOps practices — model versioning, monitoring, and retraining at scale
