We are seeking a highly visionary Global Cloud Solutions Lead to drive the strategy, planning, design, and execution of our cloud platforms. This leadership role is responsible for defining and delivering the overall cloud strategy and roadmap for a complex, multi-region enterprise environment. You will leverage on your deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, hybrid integration, and security frameworks to ensure cloud solutions are optimised for performance, aligning with business objectives and global standards.
This role will have deep involvement in projects such as cloud transformation initiatives, change as well as governance of day-to-day operations and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Ownership
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cloud solutions in alignment with business and manufacturing objectives.
- Translate business needs into a cloud adoption strategy that drives measurable business outcomes.
- Anticipate emerging trends, recommending innovations to leadership.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Provide technical leadership in designing cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services (IaaS, PaaS) and hybrid integration architectures.
- Ensure architectures are scalable, secure, resilient, and compliant with global and industry standards.
- Champion OT/IT convergence, bridging operational technology with enterprise IT and cloud platforms.
Project Delivery
- Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and delivery cycles using Agile methodologies.
- Drive end-to-end implementation of new cloud capabilities, ensuring timely delivery against roadmap commitments.
- Define and track KPIs, adoption metrics, and performance outcomes for cloud products.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee the lifecycle management of cloud products, including upgrades, optimization, and performance monitoring.
- Establish governance frameworks to ensure adherence to security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Support manufacturing stakeholders in troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Evaluate third-party solutions for fit, cost-effectiveness, and long-term value.
- Own budget planning, cost optimization, and licensing strategy for cloud platforms.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as the primary liaison between business, IT, OT, and vendor teams.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity.
- Build and nurture a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across teams.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud product ownership, product management, or cloud solution architecture.
- Strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud/integration architectures.
- Proven understanding of security and compliance frameworks(ISO, NIST, SOC, GDPR, etc.) and their application in enterprise and manufacturing contexts.
- Experience with OT/IT convergence and digital platforms supporting industrial/manufacturing environments.
