We are seeking a visionary and strategic Global Network Lead to lead the planning, design, and execution of our global network infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for defining and delivering the network strategy and roadmap for a complex, multi-region enterprise environment. You will ensure the network is secure, scalable, resilient, and optimized for performance, while enabling business growth and digital transformation initiatives.
This role will have deep involvement in projects such as SD-WAN deployment, SASE transformation, cloud connectivity, and network performance optimization, as well as governance of day-to-day operations and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Ownership
- Define and own the global network strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation goals.
- Develop and maintain the network technology roadmap covering WAN, LAN, wireless, cloud connectivity, and security architectures.
- Champion modern networking principles including Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN, and cloud-native networking.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead architectural direction for all enterprise network services and solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure integration with enterprise security, identity, and application platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and define adoption strategies.
Program & Project Delivery
- Oversee the execution of global and regional network projects including:
- SD-WAN transformation
- SASE and ZTNA implementations
- MPLS-to-Internet migration
- Global connectivity enhancements (e.g., ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)
- Network performance and cost optimization
Operational Oversight
- Guide regional teams and managed service providers to ensure SLA adherence, incident management, and capacity planning.
- Drive network health metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish governance models for change, incident, and configuration management.
Vendor & Budget Management
- Manage global contracts and relationships with network service providers, OEMs, and technology vendors.
- Develop and track annual budget and financial forecasts for network services.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a senior stakeholder in cross-functional technology and transformation programs.
- Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Application teams.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to regional network leads and engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, with 3–5+ years in a strategic or leadership role.
- Proven experience leading global networking programs across large user bases.
- Strong understanding of SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and cloud network architectures.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Azure/AWS networking.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and MSPs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
