About the company
Our client is a forward-looking education organization dedicated to preparing learners for practical, industry-relevant careers. They prioritize applied learning, innovation, and collaboration with industry partners, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to contribute to an institution that values excellence, continuous improvement, and meaningful impact in education.
About the role
The Head of HRIS, Analytics & HR Policy will be a strategic leader driving the next phase of HR transformation for our client. Leading a small HRIS team and partnering closely with IT, you will oversee the rollout and optimization of HR systems, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization. Beyond systems, you will play a critical role in shaping HR policies and governance, ensuring processes and compliance frameworks align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves enhancing and automating HR processes across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, succession planning, and talent development, while identifying opportunities to leverage RPA and AI. You will also generate actionable analytics, develop dashboards, and provide accurate, timely reporting to senior leadership team and executive committee members. This hands-on, strategic role blends operational execution, process innovation, and governance oversight, offering a chance to make a tangible impact on the organization’s HR capability.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a seasoned subject matter expert in HRIS with at least 15 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience managing HRIS systems and leading HR transformation projects. You should have a strong understanding of HR processes, process optimization, and system implementation, with the ability to identify opportunities for automation, RPA, and AI integration. Experience in HR policy development, governance, and compliance is essential, ensuring that HR practices align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. This role also requires proven people management experience, as you will lead a small team and collaborate closely with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver successful system adoption and process enhancements. Strong analytical skills, the ability to generate actionable insights from HR data, and experience translating them into strategic business recommendations are critical for success in this role.
Why you'll love this role
This is a unique opportunity to lead HR technology, process, and policy transformation in a progressive education institution. You will have the autonomy to optimize systems, innovate processes, implement governance frameworks, and leverage AI and analytics to influence strategic decisions. The role offers a collaborative environment, high impact, and the chance to contribute directly to organizational efficiency, talent development, and strategic HR initiatives, all within a culture that values learning, innovation, and excellence.
