Head of Commercial Finance, based in Myanmar (THB 200K)

Our client is a leading regional consumer goods company with a strong footprint across Southeast Asia. They are seeking a senior Commercial Finance Business Partner leader to support and help drive the strategic financial agenda for one of their key frontier markets.

This is a commercially focused finance leadership role partnering closely with the country leadership team. The position combines strategic planning, business performance management, investment evaluation, and commercial decision support in a fast-moving market environment.

Key responsibilities

· Partner closely with commercial and country leadership teams to support growth and profitability objectives.

· Lead business case evaluation, financial planning, and investment analysis for the market.

· Monitor market trends, business performance, and commercial risks, providing recommendations and corrective actions where needed.

· Analyze product, channel, and customer profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement.

· Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.

· Provide guidance and leadership to the local finance team while developing commercial finance capabilities.

· Support pricing strategy and trade investment decisions to improve commercial return.

· Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and budget discipline across the operation.

Requirements

· 10+ years of experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business finance partnering within FMCG or consumer goods.

· Thai and English language capability required.

· Open to relocation for an overseas market leadership opportunity.

· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and developing market environment
