IT Governance Analyst – APAC - $45-60k P/M

12 month extendable contract
Leading Financial Institution | APAC IT Production | Python & Power BI Focus

We are partnering with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an IT Governance Data Analyst within their APAC IT Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–5 years’ experience in IT governance, data analysis, or business intelligence who wants to work in a high-performing, compliance-focused environment.

Role Overview
You will support IT governance and data-driven decision-making for Global Markets and ALMT business applications. The role combines Python/SQL-based reporting, dashboard development, process automation, and coordination of IT projects to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and strong control standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as IT governance analyst, ensuring strong control environment across APAC systems
  • Generate reports and perform data analysis using Python and SQL
  • Build dashboards and visualize KPIs with Power BI to support business insights
  • Implement process automation to improve operational efficiency
  • Prepare and coordinate steering committee meetings and documentation
  • Maintain system and process documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Support transversal IT projects such as vulnerability and obsolescence management
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and provide operational support

Skills & Experience Required

  • 1–5 years’ experience in IT governance, data analysis, or business intelligence
  • Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
  • Proficiency in Power BI and reporting/dashboard creation
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, databases, firewalls, and operating systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • Fluent in English
