Manager/Assistant Manager, Travel Retail Business Development

Prestige Beauty | Singapore | ASEAN Scope | Approximately 50% Regional Travel

Exclusive: A global luxury beauty maison is appointing an experienced Travel Retail Business Development Manager / Assistant Manager to support the continued growth and retail excellence of its ASEAN business across airport and downtown travel retail locations.

Based in Singapore and reporting to international travel retail leadership, this regional position combines commercial performance, operator partnership management, frontline team leadership and luxury retail execution. The role is suited to a prestige beauty, fragrance or cosmetics travel retail professional who can strengthen sales performance, brand visibility and customer experience across key regional doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sell-in, sell-out, retail KPIs and market share performance across assigned ASEAN travel retail doors
  • Build and develop partnerships with travel retail operators, central buying teams and local operational stakeholders
  • Analyse performance by door, operator, airport and product category, translating insights into focused commercial action plans
  • Identify growth opportunities through new doors, improved locations, enhanced visibility and retailer-led activations
  • Ensure excellence across assortment, stock, novelty launches, merchandising, brand presentation and customer experience
  • Lead, coach and motivate Beauty Advisors and in-store teams to deliver sales, service and brand standards

Key Requirements

  • Over 5 years’ travel retail experience, with relevant experience gained within prestige beauty, fragrance or cosmetics travel retail
  • Strong understanding of airport travel retail, operator relationships and retail door performance management
  • Demonstrated capability across sell-in, sell-out, retail KPIs, commercial analysis and action planning
  • Experience managing or coaching Beauty Advisors, Beauty Consultants or frontline retail teams
  • Hands-on, commercially sharp and credible in representing a luxury brand across regional markets
  • Fluent English is essential; strong Mandarin capability is highly advantageous; comfortable with approximately 50% travel across ASEAN and other international markets
