Portfolio Management Manager
About the Role
We are partnering with a leading multinational organization undergoing a significant business and technology transformation. This role will be responsible for driving portfolio governance, demand management, strategic planning, and executive reporting across a portfolio of enterprise initiatives.
Operating within a highly matrixed environment, the successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to senior business and technology leaders, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans, investments are effectively prioritized, and initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, and governance across strategic business and technology initiatives.
- Manage demand intake, evaluation, and investment decision-making processes.
- Provide visibility of portfolio performance, risks, dependencies, resource utilization, and delivery progress.
- Support business case development, benefits tracking, and value realization activities.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, presentations, and insights for C-level leadership and governance forums.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, technology, operations, and corporate functions to drive alignment and execution.
- Drive consistency in portfolio management, governance, and planning practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, PMO, Strategic Planning, Transformation
- Proven experience operating within large, complex, and matrixed organizations.
- Strong portfolio governance, prioritization, stakeholder management, and executive communication capabilities.
- Ability to engage, influence, and align senior stakeholders across multiple business functions and levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate a broad range of topics across technology, operations, finance, risk, and transformation initiatives.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills, with confidence interacting with senior leadership.
- Experience with portfolio reporting and planning tools such as Power BI, Jira, ServiceNow, or similar.
Preferred
- Experience within Consulting, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Retail, or other fast-paced multinational environments.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, PfMP, Agile, or equivalent certifications.
