Power BI Developer / Data Analyst / 50-60k P/M / 6 month extendable contract

Financial Services | Project Management Tool Implementation

Our client, a leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking a Power BI Developer / Data Analyst to support the build and optimisation of dashboards and analytics for a major Project Management tool implementation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in delivering insightful, business-critical reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards that support project governance, progress tracking, and performance insights.
• Translate business requirements into clear, intuitive, and interactive data visualisations.
• Work closely with Project Managers, PMO, and technology teams to ensure reporting is aligned with project workflow and governance needs.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
• Support data modelling, DAX development, and data quality improvements.
• Assist in integrating the new Project Management tool with existing reporting frameworks.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI(data modelling, DAX, dashboard design).
• Background in Data Analysis within Financial Services preferred.
• Experience working with PMO or Project Management data highly advantageous (e.g., timelines, milestones, RAID, resource utilisation).
• Solid SQL skills and ability to work with diverse datasets.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
