Project Engineer Manager (Chinese Speaking)

Location: Bangkok or Rayong

We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual Project Management Engineer (Chinese Speaking) to support the planning, execution, and coordination of engineering projects across cross-border teams. This role requires fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and Thai to facilitate effective communication with Chinese-speaking suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards. The role will be responsible for supporting a greenfield project with a total investment value exceeding THB 2,000 million.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Coordination & Execution:
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering and construction projects.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure alignment with goals.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
2. Supplier & Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the primary contact for Chinese-speaking suppliers and partners.
• Translate technical and project-related documents and facilitate real-time discussions between teams.
• Manage supplier timelines and performance in coordination with procurement and engineering teams.
3. Risk & Issue Management:
• Identify potential project risks and issues, propose mitigation plans, and escalate as needed.
• Monitor and report project performance and progress to management.
4. Process & Cost Control:
• Support cost estimation and budgeting processes.
• Work closely with finance and procurement to monitor expenditures and cost control measures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
• Project engineering or project management experience.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin)
• Good command both Thai and English
• Experience in greenfield project execution is an advantage.
