QA Manager / $50k P/M / Perm Role / Non FS

Role Overview:

As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process across various projects. You will work on both manual and automation, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality. Your role will involve strategic planning, process improvement, and hands-on management of testing activities to deliver top-notch software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Define and implement QA strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Process Management: Oversee the entire QA lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and reporting. Ensure all projects adhere to established quality standards.
  • Automation: Drive the adoption of automation testing across projects. Work with the team to build and maintain robust automation frameworks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Problem Solving: Identify, document, and manage defects. Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze QA processes, making data-driven decisions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in QA roles with a strong background in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Strong understanding of software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying issues and implementing solutions efficiently.
