R&D Head - Food Manufacturing (OEM Focus)
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Head of R&D to lead and oversee all R&D in our food manufacturing operations, with a particular focus on OEM partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both product and process development, driving innovation while ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. This role is crucial in shaping our product portfolio and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet client needs and market demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the R&D strategy to align with the company’s business goals and OEM client requirements.
- Identify market trends and opportunities to drive innovation in product development and process optimization.
- Lead the creation of new products, from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with client specifications, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
- Lead initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes for improved efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to support product innovation and operational efficiency.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing R&D team both local and oversea, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Provide guidance and professional development opportunities for team members.
- Oversee R&D project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of R&D experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in both product and process development within an OEM manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Good command of Thai and English
