R&D Manager (Food Industry)

We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead product development and innovation within a growing food manufacturing environment. This role will take full ownership of the R&D function—from concept development to commercialization—while ensuring products meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market and continuously improve existing formulations to stay competitive.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Innovation
- Lead end-to-end product development, from concept creation to product launch
- Develop and refine food formulations in line with market trends and customer requirements
- Conduct product trials, testing, and validation to ensure quality and consistency
Project Management
- Manage multiple R&D projects, ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are achieved
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and quality teams to support successful commercialization
- Lead scale-up processes from lab trials to full production
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the R&D team to strengthen technical capabilities
- Provide guidance on formulation, processes, and technical problem-solving
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve product performance, optimize costs, and enhance formulations
- Keep up to date with market trends, new ingredients, and industry innovations
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in R&D within the food industry
- Strong experience in product formulation and commercialization
- Proven track record of launching successful food products
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills
- Good command of English and Thai
