WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
This role supports a key commercial financial institution in Singapore and will help develop Managed Services capabilities in the commercial space - a template for expansion across Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will identify and solve client challenges to support portfolio growth, in turn supporting the organisation's ambition of diversifying revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and own product expertise to proactively advocate as a subject matter expert, requiring a deep understanding of product functionality, roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology environment of target customers.
- Assess client business needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required, helping the client add capabilities to achieve success.
- Leverage appropriate assets and resources to provide an exceptional implementation and integration experience to the client.
- Develop key focus sectors (e.g. Healthcare, Government, Logistics) with specific value propositions.
- Perform go-to-market activities by closely working with product managers, finance, operations, legal, compliance, user experience, and external partners.
- Support the client to drive new sales opportunities and increase existing usage of commercial capabilities to meet portfolio growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders and with the client.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required
- 5 to 7 years' experience in product management, presales consulting, and/or launching new products, preferably within commercial segments.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as business administration, economics, finance, computer science, or engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
- Good balance between strategic thinking and detailed execution with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in program and project management in a matrixed, multi-country, and multi-cultural environment.
Advantageous
- Experience in client engagement in product management or specialist roles.
- Demonstrated ability to research, understand business processes, and propose ideas to deliver solutions.
- Has worked in SME or Large Corporate focused roles, adept at gathering internal approvals, managing launch plans and communications.
- Understands macro trends impacting payments, banks, and financial services, and can develop value propositions and execute client adoption.
