Senior Data Solution Architect (Contract)

Role Overview:

An established enterprise is seeking a Senior Data Solution Designer to lead the architecture and delivery of scalable, high-performing data platforms on AWS. This position blends technical leadership with hands-on engineering, focusing on building and optimizing cloud-based data ecosystems that enable business insights and innovation across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end design and deployment of AWS-centric data platforms across engineering, integration, and governance functions.
• Oversee technical implementation to ensure robust, secure, and scalable data systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Continuously enhance data platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Define and execute strategies for data management, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, MDM, and analytics frameworks.
• Champion best practices in data engineering, architecture, and AWS technologies.
  

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions, with deep expertise in AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena).
• Proven background in building and optimizing large data platforms such as Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and MDM systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and aligning data initiatives with organizational goals.
• Hands-on proficiency in data coding, integration, and governance best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured and detail-oriented approach.
