Senior Linux Engineer / Financial Services / HKD 70k -80k /12-Month Contract

Join a global banking group to support electronic markets projects and daily UNIX infrastructure operations for front office trading floor

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead UNIX infrastructure projects, including server planning, deployment, optimization, and resilience
• Reduce system latency and incidents through automation and performance tuning
• Provide production support for critical Linux platforms in a fast-paced trading environment
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system recovery
• Manage OS provisioning, standardization, and regional policy control
• Support front office trading floors and undertake occasional APAC travel

What We're Looking For:

• Degree in IT or related field, preferably with RHEL certifications
• 7+ years in IT, including 5 years as a UNIX System Administrator/Engineer
• Expertise in RedHat/Linux, scripting (shell, Perl, Python), and system patching
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience in multinational IT environments and investment banking (preferred)
• Fluency in English
