Software Developer (Azure) / Insurance / 8 months contract

A leading insurance firm in Hong Kong is looking for a Developer specializing in architecture design with a strong focus on Azure. It will be an 8-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement business applications, including mainframe and client/server systems
• Analyze requirements, create detailed specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs
• Code and modify programs to client standards, conducting unit testing and troubleshooting
• Prepare test plans, create migration packages, and perform system and user testing
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and resolve bugs identified during testing

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of software development experience, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Strong skills in large-scale systems design, development, and in-depth troubleshooting
• Proficiency in programming, problem diagnosis, and resolution
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Experience in financial services or insurance industry (preferred)
