A leading technology consultancy is expanding its delivery team and is looking for a Web & Automation Testing Engineer to support a range of client-facing digital transformation projects. This role offers exposure to modern tech stacks, enterprise-scale systems, and agile delivery environments.

🔍 The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web-based applications through both manual and automated testing. Working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams, you’ll help embed quality throughout the SDLC.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications
• Execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers to identify, log, and resolve defects early
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Validate APIs, UI components, and end-to-end user journeys
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines with automated test execution
• Produce clear test documentation and reports for stakeholders

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in web application testing
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools(e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, WebDriverIO, etc.)
• Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools(e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Strong communication skills and a consulting mindset

• Experience working in a technology consultancy or client-facing environment
• Exposure to cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Performance or security testing experience
• ISTQB or other testing certifications
