This role plays a critical leadership role within the Data & AI function, reporting directly to the Chief Data & AI Officer. He/She is responsible for shaping and executing AI and Data strategy, driving enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, establishing governance and responsible AI practices, and enabling the successful adoption of AI and Data capabilities across the organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior business, technology, risk, compliance and Group stakeholders to ensure AI and Data investments are aligned to strategic priorities, deliver measurable business value, and comply with company's governance and regulatory requirements.
AI & Data Strategy
The successful candidate will work closely with senior business, technology, risk, compliance and Group stakeholders to ensure AI and Data investments are aligned to strategic priorities, deliver measurable business value, and comply with company's governance and regulatory requirements.
AI & Data Strategy
- Develop and maintain AI & Data Strategy and multi-year transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities and Group objectives.
- Support the Chief Data & AI Officer in defining and driving the overall AI and Data vision.
- Identify strategic opportunities for AI, Generative AI, Analytics and Data capabilities to create business value and improve operational effectiveness.
- Develop business cases, executive presentations and investment proposals to support strategic decision-making.
AI Governance & Responsible AI
- Establish and maintain AI Governance and Responsible AI frameworks, policies and standards.
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with company's requirements, Group policies and relevant regulatory expectations.
- Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal and Information Security teams to identify and mitigate AI-related risks.
Data Governance & Data Management
- Drive Data Governance capabilities to improve data quality, ownership, accountability and accessibility across the firm.
- Lead initiatives related to data quality management, metadata management, data lineage and master data management.
AI & Data Transformation Portfolio
- Establish and oversee the enterprise AI & Data transformation portfolio.
- Manage programme dependencies, risks, milestones and outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Business Engagement & Adoption
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders.
- Promote adoption of AI and Data capabilities through engagement, communication and change management initiatives.
Regulatory & External Engagement
- Monitor developments in AI, Data Privacy, Technology Risk and related regulatory requirements.
- Support regulatory reviews, audits and governance assessments.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing team focused on strategy, governance and transformation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in AI, Data, Analytics, Technology, Strategy or Transformation leadership roles.
- Have previously led a mix team of Engineers and Business employees
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise AI and Data strategies.
- Experience working within highly regulated industries such as Insurance or Financial
- Working in regional/ internation stakeholders (English and Mandarin are required)
