Data & Business Intelligence Analyst – Global Banking Transformation / $6-8k SGD P/M

About the Role

We are partnering with a leading global bank in Singapore on a major business and technology transformation programme.

They are looking for an experienced Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to support a high-profile transformation across their Data & Analytics environment.

The role will have a strong focus on Qlik Sense, BigQuery, data quality and BI delivery, ensuring critical dashboards and reporting remain accurate, consistent and production-ready throughout the transformation.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large-scale banking environment, partnering with stakeholders across Data, Technology and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver changes across Qlik Sense dashboards within a controlled production environment.
• Support dashboard migration, configuration and release activities across centrally and locally managed reporting.
• Duplicate and validate production dashboards, implement required changes and perform detailed sanity checks across layout, functionality and data.
• Manage Qlik Sense streams, publishing and deployment activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard, data and ETL/ELT issues impacting reporting stability or data accuracy.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using test cases, row counts, checksums and tolerance-based comparisons.
• Support BigQuery data pipelines and maintain reliable data flows supporting BI and reporting.
• Apply strong data quality and governance practices across reporting and analytics.
• Maintain appropriate metadata, lineage, version control and change documentation.
• Support CI/CD, monitoring and alerting across relevant data pipelines and reporting processes.
• Coordinate testing, approvals, deployment and production releases.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure changes are implemented consistently.
• Track delivery progress, dependencies, issues and risks across the programme.
• Provide clear updates to senior business, technology and programme stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, BI Developer or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense.
• Experience with Qlik Sense dashboard development, stream management, publishing and deployment.
• Strong BigQuery experience.
• Good experience developing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Understanding of incremental loads, orchestration, error handling, retries and pipeline performance.
• Strong data validation, reconciliation and data quality experience.
• Good understanding of data governance, metadata and lineage.
• Exposure to version control, CI/CD and monitoring within data environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across dashboards, reporting and underlying data.
• Able to manage multiple deliverables within a structured transformation programme.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Advantageous Experience

• Previous experience within banking, financial services, insurance or another regulated environment.
• Experience supporting large-scale transformation or change programmes.
• Knowledge of dimensional data modelling and BI architecture.
• Experience working across both business and technology teams.
• Experience supporting production-critical reporting and analytics environments.
