Position Overview

Are you a technical food engineer passionate about process optimization, product validation, and shop-floor digitalization?

We are seeking a proactive Process Engineer to join an international food manufacturing plant in Chonburi. In this role, you will bridge shop-floor execution with global R&D, leading end-to-end process validation (from raw materials to final packaging), optimizing line efficiency, and driving digital tool adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Quality & Performance:
  • Oversee end-to-end process parameters and product quality from mixing/preparation to final packaging.
  • Design, test, and validate process hypotheses, new manufacturing equipment, and production lines.
  • Utilize statistical analysis to track performance trends and drive data-backed operational decisions.
• Global R&D & Technical Validation:
  • Partner closely with Global R&D on product testing, supplier evaluations, crop/ingredient transitions, and new packaging trials.
  • Lead regular alignment meetings with R&D teams to streamline process and product validation projects.
• Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement (CI):
  • Diagnose production root causes and establish robust process control strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practice methodologies.

• Apply Lean and Continuous Improvement tools to eliminate operational waste and optimize yield.
• Digitalization & Capacity Planning:
  • Serve as a Key User for digital factory solutions (Manufacturing Excellence / Operations Cockpit) and support IT projects.
  • Maintain capacity models, standard crew planning, and process simulation models for plant expansion initiatives.
• Knowledge Transfer:
  • Train and mentor shift leaders and operators, building plant-wide technical capabilities.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Process Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Solid background in a production support or process engineering role within Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with automation systems, statistical analysis tools, process simulation software, or MES tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of food technology, regulatory compliance, and food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, BRCGS, HALAL).
• Languages: Fluent command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
• Soft Skills: Hands-on attitude (thrives on the production floor), analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.
